Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops
Founded in 1943 and officially recognized by the Holy See in 1948, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) is the national association of Catholic bishops. It is one of a world-wide network of episcopal conferences established by Vatican Council II (1962-65) as permanent institutions where bishops exercise certain national pastoral offices.
CCCB Publications The CCCB Publications Service was created in 1966 in response to a call for liturgical reform by Vatican Council II. Its mission is to publish texts (English and French) of high quality at an affordable price and to facilitate access by the public to official CCCB and Vatican documents.
