Damaris Thillet is a native of Ponce, Puerto Rico. She is a composer, musician and vocalist. She studied at Temple University in Philadelphia and has served as Program Coordinator of Hispanic Liturgical Music for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia since 1990. In addition, she is currently the Music Education Program Director at the Catholic Institute for Evangelization in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Damaris was also a consultant for the Cantos del Pueblo de Dios Spanish language hymnal from World Library Publications.

She and her husband, Diego Correa, have published Canten a Dios: Con Ritmos de Nuestra Cultura, a music collection with World Library Publications.
